FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

Q: What does your venue include?

Along with access to our event space and furniture in the chapel, Church & State we allow our clients to select services à la carte (e.g., commercial kitchen, cleaning, AV equipment, stage, tables, chairs, etc.).

Q: What is the timeframe for venue access?

We are flexible with the timeframe for your event. We allow clients to book in hourly increments, for six hours, or twelve hours.

Q: How far in advance should I book my event? How do I find out if my date is available?

Church & State only hosts one wedding per day, so dates do book up very quickly. Saturdays during peak months can book up more than a year in advance! Please contact us and we will be happy to discuss availability for your event.

Q: Do you require an appointment in order to tour the venue?

We recommend an appointment to ensure a private tour with a member of the Church and State team. We also want to ensure privacy for our clients during events. First, we encourage you to fill out the form above to verify your dates are available.

Q: Do you have an approved vendor list? What are the requirements for vendors?

Church and State has created a wonderful vendor list, which includes some of the best event experts in greater Salt Lake City area. However, we do not require that you use any specific vendors. All vendors are required to be licensed and insured.

Q: Is on-site parking available?

Church and State is located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City; therefore, parking spaces are limited. Public parking and accommodating parking spaces located at the public library provide excellent access to Church and State.
